iPhone 7 Simplified
Over many years apple has been able to create a hype around its products, and its no different to its latest product, the iPhone 7. With competitive android devices breaking new grounds and bringing the consumer a whole new experience, the new iPhone has a lot of expectations.
When comparing products to find out which one is the best, we mostly isolate functionalities to determine the winner, we never holistically compare these products and the reason being is that these products are unique in their own way and to their own market. A good example can be seen on this video below:
In this video cameras of the high end best performing smartphones are being compared, they are all the best in the market, but you cannot say there's an overall winner because this is a subjective test.
Different people have different taste and use their smartphones for wide range of tasks. I strongly advice to first before deciding on the type of smartphone you want, to write down what you will be using the phone for and what functions are essential for that task, then only search the web for information on the product you would like to buy. If you are not as well off as some of us, you must include how much you are willing to spend.
Getting back to the iPhone 7. The phone has new features that makes it superior to its predecessor. It can be directly compared to the Samsung galaxy s7 (overall)
The following are the iPhone's new functionalities:
1 No headphone jack:
This is one of the features that has created a lot of controversy in the market with consumers expressing mixed responses. The iPhone 7 has ditched this so as to make space for future technologies to improve the phone. Apple to counter this has created its own wireless earphones which looks stunning in white and other attractive colors. These can last for almost 12hrs before being recharged. they are easily connected to the iPhone as soon as removed from their casing. As much as this tech has existed, to see big companies like Apple embarrassing them shows that they are they lit.
2 Dual stereo speakers
With the earphone jack removed Apple has introduced two speakers on the iPhone 7. These are powerful and will cater for all your entertainment needs. These speakers are located one on the bottom of the phone (As originally with previous iPhone) and the other on the top. These speakers are well positioned and will interact with the phone to adjust as you change how you view your phone (horizontally or vertically).
3 Water Resistant
The iPhone has finally caught up with its competitors with this feature. If you had to compare this with that of the Samsung s7 it will be pointless as the Samsung would straight up win, but for iPhone techies this is not about competition it is merely the highly demanded feature. For daily use however I do not see the necessity.
4 A10 Fusion chip
This is described by Apple as a quad core chip, meaning it has 4 cores which work simultaneously to give you a fast performance with lower energy usage compared to the previous iPhone. What you need to know in this case is that it is very fast in responding, both in exiting and entering apps as well as other under the bonnet tasks. Just a reminder these chips are only exclusives to Apple products.
For a gamer out there, this means games can load faster than before, thus enhancing your experience.
5 New camera features
The iPhone 7 now runs a 12 MP camera with optical lens and motion stabilization. With iPhone 7 plus you get a wide angle and telephoto lens, these two can be used in different situations. The Face-timing camera has also been updated. You can also take 4K videos with this beast.
These are what I am more hyped about. The iPhone is jam packed with lots new features that you can enjoy.
The iPhone's pre-orders have started today at a number of countries, make sure you get yours soon, if you have money, but if you don't I suggest your read my previous articles or stay tuned for some more helpful advice on which phone to buy.
Like many more people, if you still need more convincing i suggest you watch the conference Apple had to reveal the iPhone, but not only that, new iWatches were announced.
